Mark Te Whare, the business owner of the NEW Ray White Manukau City (previously the Training Manager for the North Island and Auctioneer for Ray White New Zealand), began his career in real estate almost by chance; born in the Rangitikei town of Marton, Mark was living in Queensland when in 1999 he took up a salesperson role in a local Ray White office.
During his career he worked out of Ray White Paddington, the top Ray White office in Brisbane, and one with a strong auction focus. During his career in Australia he was recognised among the top five auction performers for North Brisbane and won a number of newspaper marketing awards. He has called more than 4,000 residential, commercial and rural property auctions, ranging in value from $96,000 to $16 million.
In 2002 Mark was named the Ray White Queensland New Auctioneer of the Year, and in 2007 – 2008 before returning home, he was a finalist in the Real Estate Institute of Queensland Auctioneer of the Year Awards.
Mark brings to New Zealand his experience in training agents and principals, and developing their auction businesses, throughout much of eastern Australia and into rural parts of New South Wales.
